Harry E. Parker III : P.G.A. Master Professional; Director of Golf/Head Professional
A native of Vermont, Harry moved to Pompano Beach at the age of 13 where, upon completion of his education he started his golf career at Pompano Beach CC under South Florida PGA Hall of Fame member, Roger Kennedy. Harry's private course experience includes Head Professional positions in Ft. Lauderdale and Wisconsin as well as Resort experience here in Boca Raton and on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. In 1991, he became the PGA's 89th Master Professional when his instructional thesis was accepted by the PGA's review panel. The PGA has approximately 26,000 members and apprentices. Currently, there are 322 Master Professionals.
Harry returned to south Florida in 2004 from Cape Cod where he served as Golf Director for the Corcoran-Jennison Hospitality Company. There, he directed 4 golf courses for the management company while serving as Head Professional at the Ocean Edge Resort & Club in Brewster, Ma.
Harry has qualified and played in 5 National Club Professional Championships as well as numerous PGA Section Cup teams based upon his standing in the player of the year points lists. He recently won the Sr. Championship of the Southern Chapter, PGA. He also qualified for the Doral PGA Tour event at the age of 28.
Programs at Lago Mar include weekly summer camps that run Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for ages 6-16. Ladies beginner and intermediate group lessons are also available in addition to the private lessons program.
Harry bring years of teaching and playing expertise to share with the members of Lago Mar.
Emma Leonardi: Director of Instruction
Emma Leonardi, Director of Instruction at Lago Mar Country Club. Class A member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional Division has been teaching for nine years. She played college golf at Florida State University where she earned a BS degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Emma played professionally for 5 years where she competed on the Women's Professional European Tour, The Gold Course Tour, and the Futures Tour. During that time played in some notable tournaments such as The Women's British Open, the Women's U.S. Open, and the Evian Masters.After training under the Jim McLean Golf School, she returned to
Lago Mar Country Club as the Head Golf Professional.
After serving for three years at this position she became the Director of Instruction to focus primarily on instruction. She instructs all ages and abilities through every aspect of the game including on-the-range video analysis with a portable system.
